Welcome
The Wellington Java User Group serves as a focal point for those in Wellington, New Zealand, who are interested in the Java programming language.
We aim to meet on the third Wednesday of every month to discuss Java related topics. The user group is run on a purely voluntary basis. There are no fees, and all are welcome.
We are always on the lookout for people to present topics at our meetings.
If you have something to say, or you have ideas and would like to participate,
please contact us!
Future Events:
June 2009: "I know the programming language so I can write your program!"
Is knowing the programming language enough in order to be a programmer? Having conducted research into practitioner perceptions of programming, Errol presents some of his findings and reviews the implications and possible future directions for research.
