Welcome
The Wellington Java User Group serves as a focal point for those in Wellington, New Zealand, who are interested in the Java programming language.
We aim to meet on the third Wednesday of every month to discuss Java related topics. The user group is run on a purely voluntary basis. There are no fees, and all are welcome.
We are always on the lookout for people to present topics at our meetings.
If you have something to say, or you have ideas and would like to participate,
please contact us!
Future Events:
August 20th 5:00 for 5:15 - 6:30 pm 2008 — Tidbits Session
This month we'll have a selection of mini talks from members of the JUG. The line-up includes:
- Nigel Charman on Crap4J
- John Smart on Subversion 1.5
- Mike Reid on Argonaut RoadRunner (http://computerworld.co.nz/news.nsf/news/05B138A24CCE0B89CC257493007FE16D)
- Richard Schmidt on Server Side AJAX
- Bruce Chapman on something interesting!
There has been a good response for this tidbits session. Because we don't yet have a speaker scheduled for September, we may even spill some of the mini-talks over until then.
